Double tournament Prague - Fallschirmjagers

Hello again.
 In few weeks will be in Prague double tournament in FOW. The new "allaboutfallschirmjagers" book Fortress Italy has some nice and new options for FJG.
 So, me and fiend of my Ondřej, we have decided to replay some Cassino battle. I will have Fallschirmjagers from 1. Fallschirmjagers division . Ondřej will field his 5th Gebirgs Division. Both infantry, both veterans, both tough nuts to crack.
 My parts is relatively "easy". HQ, 2 full infantry platoon, 2 paks unit and 10.5 cm artillery. Well, it is a lot of models in cammo. 127 exactly.
They are some pictures from progress. It is really still wip and i can blur event static wall on photo.

Basing FOW models

Yesterday and the day before yesterday I tried to do the bases for bikes for DAK and then paint. I took the advice from Vitek - Ogri doupe and tried to do the bases from mixed filler . Several advices.

- Plastic base must be "cut" because otherwise the mixed filler has not adhered to properly.

- Mixed filler is good lightly moistened (not in the container it starts to stink horribly :-))), holds much better then.

- Mixed filler is too wet, it becomes a useless mud

- Mixed filler dries several hours. Ideally let it dry overnight.

- If you want holes, rocks, tracks etc in bases, it must be made in advance before the mixed filler turn solid.

Pictures taken from the beginning to the final version. It is easy, just take a lot of time.

I used this one, but almost all this product are the same.

Panthers Panzer Lehr

I decided to give on the internet some instructions and pictures of their models into Flames of War (hereinafter referred to FOW).First in line is one of the older model Panther. Overall I did three pictures are from the first.Chosen darker assault camouflage was used in year 44 by division Panzer Lehr. 
Models are made by plastic soldier company.
